This action group provides practical local support to help people to make their homes more environmentally friendly, cheaper to run and more comfortable to live in.
The group’s flagship event is renew’s Sustainable House Day, in September each year. We are working to establish a program of events throughout the year, to help our members convert the inspiration from SHD to actions to improve their own homes.

Responding to requests from members for information about sustainable design and about retrofitting, we’ve compiled a short list of books available in the local libraries. Please let us know if your favourite isn’t listed here, so we can share the information with the group (and/ or ask the libraries to purchase, as appropriate)
