Bushfire Resilience - Star Rating Project

Did you know that 90% of homes in high risk areas are not resilient to bushfire, putting lives, homes and livelihoods at unacceptable risk?

The Bushfire Building Council of Australia has developed a voluntary Bushfire Resilience Star Rating system to help households adapt their homes to make them more resilient to bushfire.

A resilience rating app has been developed to enable householders to assess their homes and identify key actions to improve the rating. Expert assessors help in reviewing plans and ratings before and after improvements are made. Ratings be shared (voluntarily) to communicate value to insurers, lenders, purchasers or renters.
