Ruth leads the Rural Innovation Research Group at the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on people and change, work and employment, as well as agricultural extension and innovation. Current research projects focus on the topics of young people and why they enter, stay or leave agricultural jobs and careers and people management practices on Australian farms.
