Sunbury Cobaw Oral Care Services Visit

Woodend Community Bags recently hosted a team from Sunbury Cobaw Oral Care Services who had asked if they could come and make bags as a ‘fun’ activity for their team building day. 

A group of 14 attended and learnt about what we do at Woodend Community Bags and were then invited to make a bag themselves. 

For some, they tackled a sewing machine for the first time, under the tuition of our skilled and experienced volunteers.

The Cobaw group said it was a wonderful and instructive experience.

The event raised funds from bag sales plus a donation for hosting the event.
