Expressions of Interest: Household Renewable Sustainability Education and Information Project
Background
Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group (MRSG) through its Renewable Energy Action Group (REAG) has successfully applied for a $5.5k from the Macedon Ranges Shire Council for a project to collect and make available to the Shire community information on household sustainability. MRSG will add $2k to the project budget for a total of $7.5k. The information will be collected and made available in online resources and through a community engagement program.
Project Details
This project aims to:
Make available to local residents and businesses a range of quality, easily accessible, locally applicable information relating to sustainable homes, renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Engage with local residents to promote these areas of sustainability.
Contribute to an increase in the sustainability and energy efficiency of households in the Macedon Ranges, and an increase in the uptake of renewable energy.
Build MRSG, and its action groups, as a reliable partner/consultant in these areas.
Expressions of Interest
To achieve these aims the Renewable Energy Action Group are interested in external support for the following tasks:
Collation of relevant information from a range of sources. With a focus on locally applicable information.
Creation of an engagement plan to ensure this information is communicated widely and efficiently to residents of the Macedon Ranges.
Creation of a specific social media communication plan.
Website design, including integration into the existing MRSG website.
Expressions of interest are sought from people with an appropriate background and range of skills to assist REAG with the project - one or all of the components outlined above.
