Solar homes rebates return from July 1st
The solar homes rebate scheme is returning from July 1st. Similar to last year’s program, rebates of up to $2225 are on offer for households whose:
Combined household taxable income is less than $180,000 per annum
Property is the primary residence and is valued at under $3,000,000
Value of home is $3m or less
Home doesn’t already have a solar PV system installed (for those applying for the solar PV rebate). (Exception applies to homes with solar PV installed before 1 November 2009).
Loans are available to help householders wishing to install solar panels.
This year the rebates will be capped each month and available on a “first come, first served” basis, so if you’re thinking of applying, get moving on a quote soon!
