Volunteer Positions Vacant in MRSG

Want to do something positive that really makes a difference? Want to be involved in a friendly community of people who also share the desire to make the Macedon Ranges a more sustainable place to live? Do you have some spare time and have organisational and planning skills that you want to put to good use? If so, there are presently three openings, one of which may be a perfect fit for you.

1. Action Group Leader: Movies that Matter
   Lead a small group and work in liaison with the other action group leaders to choose and show films that touch on sustainability and climate change issues on a quarterly basis.

2. Action Group Leader: Sustainable Living Festival
   Lead a small group and work in liaison with other action group leaders to run the 2020 Macedon Ranges Sustainable Living Festival schedule for the week of November 7th 2020. The SLF leadership team will provide the vision for the event and direct the SLF Co-ordinator and Communications contractors.

3. Secretary: Renewable Energy
   Work closely with REAG leader in setting up agendas and taking minutes of monthly REAG meetings. Compile a list of strategic organisations (cfas, schools, non-profit organisations) in the Macedon Ranges region as potential beneficiaries of MRSG renewable energy projects. Post the occasional news or event item on the MRSG website for REAG.
