Tonight 7pm: Hepburn Shire's EV Bulk-Buy Launch
We would like to thank all our members and supporters who have registered interest in the Hepburn Shire EV Bulk-Buy. We are excited to be launching the bulk-buy tonight with the Good Car Company and look forward to seeing many of you there via the Zoom Launch at 7:00 pm.
Hepburn Shire is on the way to zero emissions by 2030. With transport accounting for 33% of the Shires emissions, electric vehicles will be fundamental to reaching this target. By owning and driving an EV you’ll be shrinking your emissions and driving towards a green future.
The Good Car Company will launch the 4-week bulk-buy, starting off with tonight's online community event. From 7:00 - 7:25pm there will be an opportunity to catch up and chat informally before the official launch begins at 7:30pm. Hepburn Wind's general manager, Taryn Lane, will provide an introduction to the program and then the Good Car Company Founders and Directors, Anthony, Anton and Sam will introduce themselves and explain the bulk-buy process.
If you are interested in the program and the EV's available, we encourage bulk-buy participants to book a COVID-safe test drive via the Good Car Company website. Each drive is scheduled for 45 minutes and is a great opportunity to chat and ask questions. We'd like to thank Tim and Katherine from Transition Creswick who will be managing these COVID-safe test drives.
Eligibility criteria:
To be eligible for the program, you must meet one of the criteria below. These criteria will be used to prioritise who can participate should there be high demand for the bulk-buy.
Hepburn Wind members across Australia and their family members (i.e. one partner may be a member but the other partner wishes to participate in the bulk-buy). This may also include members of a community energy group that is a member of Hepburn Wind (i.e. where the community energy group is a shareholder).
Hepburn Shire residents.
Neighbouring LGAs to the Hepburn Shire, including Ballarat, Mount Alexander, Macedon Ranges, Central Goldfields, Pyrenees and Moorabool.
Please note: locations outside of Hepburn Shire may incur increased transport fees and you will need to independently arrange vehicle collection etc.
