100% Renewable Energy is 100% doable

Whilst other countries like Sweden and Scotland have committed to 100% renewable energy, our government has no national energy plan.

That’s why Solar Citizens together with ACF, Environment Victoria and other groups have released A Plan to Power Australia.

From my perspective the most important items are:

  • close all coal fired power plants by 2030

  • stop rolling out gas to new housing sites asap

  • assist households in replacing gas appliances with energy efficient electric ones and disconnecting from the gas network.
