GO Renewable Energy Group SELECTED PRODUCTS

Go Renewable Energy Group have worked with our trusted partners (EnviroGroup and Blue Gum Electrical) to source reliable, long lasting, quality products at the best possible prices. Monitoring, testing and research into these products is on-going using independent industry references such as Renewable Energy Test Center (https://retc-ca.com/pvmi)

Solar PV (PhotoVoltaic) Panels

These harvest the energy from the Sun in the form of Direct Current (DC)

Solar Inverters

These take the Direct Current from the solar PV panels and convert it into 230V alternating current for;-

a) use in an item of electrical equipment in your home

b) send to the Electricity Grid if you do not have an immediate use for that generated electricity. You will receive a credit in the form of a Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) for any electricity that you export - Currently the rate of the FiT is around 6 cents per kWh.

OR

c) store the electricity that you generate during the day for use during times when the Sun doesn’t shine. You need batteries to store the generated electricity.

EnviroGroup Products and Prices

Go Renewable Energy Group has negotiated these packages with EnviroGroup and prices are simply a guide. The final cost will depend upon the physical constraints of the building and individual budgets and aspirations. It will be necessary for a solar consultant to visit your premises to evaluate your specific needs and what might be possible. EnviroGroup will then provide you with a detailed quote.

Grid Connected Solar PV Panels

This option allows you to generate electricity while the Sun shines and either use it or sell it to the grid at a small (currently 6 cents per kWh) feed in tariff (FiT)

6.6kW systems with a range of different panels and inverters are available at prices starting at below $6,000 inclusive of GST and full installation at the highest standards and after rebates have been deducted. Government interest free loans of $1,400 are available. The payback period, in terms of savings in your electricity bill is generally less than 5 years, and your savings go on into the future in a world where electricity prices are rising.

Add a Battery to an existing solar PV system larger than 5kW and sell surplus electricity to the grid

This more expensive option allows you to use the electricity you generate into the evening and has the potential to save most of your electricity bill.

Redback Technologies (Australian Company) 10 kWh storage bundle (incl. enclosure, batteries, control gear, installation and GST) $17,216 (possible rebate of $2,950 - ends 30 June 2023) OR:-

$16,279 if installing a battery at the same time as installing your solar PV system (we are only eligible for the solar PV rebate OR the Battery rebate)

Tesla (American Company) batteries are also available

 Solar Batteries

These allow you to store your generated electricity for use when the Sun isn’t shining and because a proportion of our electricity use is in the the evening this can allow us to save large amounts of our electricity bill. These batteries are expensive but will pay for themselves in the long run, especially if power prices continue their steep rise.

Heat Pump

An effective way of reducing your electricity bill, a heat pump will help you move away from gas as your energy source for water heating. Depending on the product, this technology can convert 1 kW of electricity to 4 kW of heat. This is another way of storing the energy that you generate from your solar panels by day

Since heating water usually represents about 25% of a household’s energy use, this can be a considerable saving. If you combine a heat pump with a solar PV system you can use the excess electricity generated during the day to heat your water.

Aquatech 210 Litres Net after max possible rebates $ 1,317

Sanden Heat Pump Also available

Indicative prices include supply, installation and GST. The net, after rebate prices include the maximum applicable rebates, not all installations will attract this level of rebate.

Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning

Using the same technology as the heat pump, a reverse cycle is an efficient way to heat your home in winter and cool it in summer. If you are considering moving away from gas heating and find evaporative cooling uncomfortable, this could provide you with a viable option – particularly when linked to a solar PV / battery system which will allow you to heat and cool your home well into the evening when the Sun has gone down.

A range of reverse cycle air conditioner brands are available for example:-

Nominal Capacity Cool kW 7.1    Heat kW 7.2

Max Room Size Sq Metres 42.9 Basic Installation Inc GST $3,912
