Malmsbury Community Climate Action Plan
Malmsbury has been selected as the location for a new project—the development of a community climate change action plan.
The project commenced with a short information session held at the Malmsbury Town hall on 14 October 2018. The mayor welcomed approximately 40 residents who attended the session, to learn more about the project and share ideas about how it may be implemented. The enthusiasm of attendees continued into discussion over lunch. The Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group, represented last Sunday by Nea Gyorffy and David Gormley-O’Brien, have been invited to help facilitate.
It is intended that two or three workshops will be held in the following weeks, aiming for a draft action plan to be developed by December. Details for workshops will be provided here when confirmed, and updates regarding project progress will also be provided.
