Come and help us make Woodend a cleaner, less waste-filled place!

The Waste Action Group are holding a Clean Up Australia Day event this year.

Teaming up with Woodend Landcare and other community groups, we will be cleaning up around 5 Mile Creek, and if we have enough helpers we will include the CFA Fire Track behind Gilbert Gordon Oval and surrounds.

WHEN: Sunday 1st March

WHERE: Meet at the Woodend Information Centre

WHAT TIME: 8.45am for 9am briefing.

WHAT TO BRING: Tongs, gloves, sturdy shoes (no sandals please!), a sun hat, sunscreen and a water bottle.

We will have water for filling up and hopefully some yummy waste-free snacks to keep us going!
