Melbourne book launch: "Housing for Degrowth"

“Degrowth” is a kind of shorthand for planned economic contraction and living lives of sufficiency. If you’ve read “Affluenza” and/ or “Curing Affluenza”, or David Homgren’s book “Retrosuburbia”, you’ll be familiar with the idea. An article from The Conversation sums it up nicely.

Associate Professor Anitra Nelson led the editorial team on a new book explaining and debating degrowth in cities and housing. The Melbourne launch of the book will take place at RMIT during the national Sustainable Living Festival.

Book (free) tickets through Eventbrite.
