Your EV Won't Ruin Your Long Weekend!
Bryce Gaton: EV transition consultant and EV writer/commentator.
Bryce Gaton has been working in, as well as writing and presenting on the EV sector since 2008. His current roles involve writing for Australia’s premier EV news site –TheDriven.io, running the EV Transition support consultancy EV Choice and providing EV build safety training to a number of Australian university FSAE race teams.
In his spare time Bryce writes on EV topics for Renew magazine, as well as regularly presenting on EV issues and opportunities at conferences, public EV information forums and events. He is also the writer behind the EV car model Fact Sheets and webpage found on the AEVA (Australian Electric Vehicle Association) national website.
Bryce is presenting at our upcoming Malmsbury EV Expo and will explain the basics of EV technologies, EV charging needs and show how they don’t ‘ruin the long weekend’ using examples from his long experience of driving EVs. He will also touch on the coming emissions and fuel economy standards - and how in the near future these might revolutionise EV buying choice in Australia.
The talk then moves to the current (and some soon to come) Australian options for buying new and second-hand battery electric vehicles and reliable sources of information about them.
