MRSG Annual General Meeting | Saturday 17 October 2026, 3.00 PM | Norma Richardson Hall, Woodend

Help shape the future of sustainability in the Macedon Ranges.

The Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group (MRSG) invites you to our 2026 Annual General Meeting – an opportunity to hear what we've achieved over the past year, look ahead to what's next and have your say on the future of MRSG.

We're also inviting more people to become members, get involved and help us grow our impact across the Macedon Ranges.

Hear from Professor Lauren Rickards

We're delighted to welcome Professor Lauren Rickards, Director of the La Trobe Climate Change Adaptation Lab, as our guest speaker.

Professor Rickards is a leading researcher in climate change adaptation and explores how climate change affects the systems and sectors that sustain us, as well as what these changes mean for our collective wellbeing.

Her presentation will give us plenty to consider as we think about how Macedon Ranges Community can respond to climate change and build a more sustainable and resilient future.

Become a member and have your say.

The Committee is recommending that membership fees remain unchanged for 2026–27, subject to member approval at the AGM. Joining MRSG is a great way to support our work and have a say in the organisation's future.

Members have the opportunity to vote at the AGM and help shape the direction of MRSG. Under Section 3(2)(b) of the MRSG Constitution, you must have been a member for at least 10 days before the AGM to vote. If you want to have a vote at this year's AGM, join by Tuesday 6 October 2026.

Not a member? You're still very welcome to attend the AGM and hear Professor Rickards speak.

Could you join the MRSG Committee?

MRSG is looking for members who want to play a more active role in the organisation by joining our Governance Committee.

We're looking for people who can bring new ideas, skills and energy to help us grow our membership, expand our activities and strengthen our voice on our objectives.

If you'd like to contribute to MRSG's future, consider nominating yourself for the Committee. You don't need to be an expert in everything – we're looking for people who are committed to our purpose and want to make a difference.
