Grant Awarded for Neighbourhood Battery Project

Sustainable Malmsbury and the Renewable Energy Action Group are excited to announce we were awarded a Community Climate Action grant for $5000 from Macedon Ranges Shire Council for project planning and community engagement on our Neighbourhood Battery project, supported by Macedon Ranges Community Enterprises and Community Bank Gisborne & District.

The grant will fund a guest speaker at a community meeting in February and an expert to assist us with project planning and applying for a grant from the Victorian Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) 100 Neighbourhood Batteries Program.
