The Woodend Bee-Friendly Society will be hosting the first meeting of the year at 3 Waterworks Road, Woodend on Sunday 16 January from 3:00 - 4:30pm. Nikki Barker and family have kindly agreed to host this meeting where we will be cutting out a hive of feral bees who have taken up residence in a cable drum on their property. Two of our most experienced beekeepers, Matt Croatto and Ross Brierty, will lead the proceedings. It will be an exciting meeting!
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEE SUIT, chair if you wish to sit during the meeting and hydration (it will be hot).
The meeting is only available to double/triple vaccinated members, you must present your COVID certificate and sign in via a QR code upon arrival.
Note that this meeting is available for FREE for financial members of the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group only. Non-members must become MRSG members in order to attend. Use the "Register Here" button below.
