Vince Mulkerin claims Environment Award

Contribution to the Environment Award: Vince Mulkerin

Congratulations to MRSG Member and Action Group Leader, Vince Mulkerin for his significant contribution to protecting the natural environment, such as biodiversity, climate change and waste reduction in this award from the Macedon Ranges Shire Council.

Vince was nominated for his work with the Riddells Creek Cool Changes project which was a showcase of what it means to do good for the environment and was the launch of the inaugural Changemakers Climate Action Festival. Well done, Vince and all the Riddells Creek Cool Changes Action Group. Donna Coutts was also nominated in recognition of her leadership of the GROW Festival of Regenerative Food and Farming. A very well deserved nomination.

Community Event of the Year Award also saw nominees Donna Coutts (GROW Festival of Regenerative Food and Farming); the Veg Action Group, of the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group (Edgy Veg Awards); Vince Mulkerin (Riddells Creek Enviro-Energy Expo); and the Woodend Farmers’ Market, of the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group.
