Thank you and happy end of 2024
As we wrap up 2024, the committee wants to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible dedication and hard work in protecting our environment and advancing sustainability here in the Macedon Ranges. Your passion and efforts have made a meaningful impact on what we love about this land, air, and water, and we are buoyed by everything you’ve accomplished this year.
We've seen Sustainable Malmsbury and Kyneton Transition Hub and Woodend Produce Swap continue their produce swaps and TerraCycling at 3 of our local farmers' markets every month, Edgy Veg reach new heights and delicious meals, our wonderful Woodend Community Farmers' Market continue to inspire, plans to Electrify 3444 soar, Riddells Creek bring a massive enviro expo to the east, Sustainable Homes find those places that want us to do more, Woodend Community Bags bring joy to many parts of our Shire, Kyneton Backyard Growers feeding the residents for free, the Woodend Bee-friendly Society educating the masses through inspiring talks and workshops, and the hard working Wash Against Waste team washing all our dirty dishes with a beautiful smile. Amazing work! And special thank you to those of you who help us behind the scenes, Nikki for our monthly newsletters and Barbara for our membership processing, and the partners and children and guardians who support those directly supporting us. Couldn’t be done without your love.
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year. Thank you to those who could make our end of year Pot Luck Picnic BBQ, it was delightful to see you all.
Here's to continuing our mission together in 2025 where we will see the Grow festival from our Regenerative Farmers take flight, Edgy Veg Awards expand over to Mount Alexander, and our collaboration with Macedon Ranges Council will forge for our Change Makers climate action week in March - be sure to keep a look out.
