Terracycle at the Woodend Farmer's Market

The MRSG Waste Action Group is now a registered collection point for Terracycle at the monthly Woodend Farmer’s Market.

Here is what you can bring to the market to be recycled:

Contact lenses – soft & hard lenses, and daily disposables

Disposable contact lens blister packs

Plastic toothbrushes

Dental floss containers

Toothpaste tubes

Cosmetics packaging

Hair care packaging

Skin care packaging

Coffee pods for these brands only:

Please note:

Terracycle does not collect Aldi Expressi pods and Aldi no longer offers in-store recycling for their coffee pods. If you are concerned about this, we suggest letting Aldi know and hopefully they will offer a new coffee pod recycling service soon.

The Woodend Farmer’s Market also collects household batteries for recycling.


We are not collecting medicine blister packs at present as this scheme is no longer offered by Terracycle. In the meantime, here is a link to how you can separate and recycle these items at home:
