GREG Volunteers

Project leader: Stephen Pepper greg@mrsg.org.au 0415 821 481 Stephen is retired and has lived in an off-grid re-cycled classroom cottage on land in Gisborne for the last 11 years. His last job was as the business owner of a solar hot water business in Melbourne which operated for 16 years.  He knows how good it feels to use the free and clean energy of the Sun having first starting to save money from this energy source 43 years ago.

Jodi Magi: Jodi is a committed proponent of clean energy and anything which will contribute towards tackling man-made global warming. In a professional capacity, Jodi is the Brand Manager of a Not for Profit organisation in the Mental Health sector. As an experienced graphic designer having worked with communications and marketing teams in multiple industry sectors, she is interested in how we communicate effectively for positive change.
She has contributed her design skills to the Stop Adani and School Strike for Climate campaigns, and is always keen to participate in people-powered movements for a brighter, cleaner future. Oh, and she's the proud Mum of two beautiful doggos.

Maurice Beinat: Maurice is a founding Director of Ecomaster a company that designs, creates and distributes elegant solutions for insulation, secondary glazing and draught proofing of buildings. He has solar hot water, solar heating and solar PV feeding into batteries on his home in Gisborne and wants to bring the cost and comfort benefit of all these technologies to the community in which he lives and works.

Sarah Purnell: Sarah worked in the Higher Education sector for many years and was involved in several large IT Systems implementations in the communications and change management space. She has recently changed careers and is now working for Relationships Australia (Victoria) as a family mediator. Sarah has had solar panels on her roof for 15 years, has chooks and a vegie patch and does what she can to live in a sustainable way on her small Gisborne block. She is looking forward to meeting more of her fellow Gisborne-ites and helping them make the move to renewable power.

GREG is also able to draw on the expertise of the many talented MRSG members.

We welcome new volunteers who want to assist in achieving an energy independent Gisborne and Macedon Ranges.
