The VEG group hosts a quarterly lunch for anyone interested in trying or sharing experiences of eating more veg, more often.

Bring a plate of something plant based (no meat or meat products), or a drink for all to share. Invite a friend! This is a good chance to meet like minded people and swap recipes.

Showcase at the Market - Vegetarian Action Group

The Vegetarian Action Group is open to anyone interested in the experience of preparing and eating vegetarian food. Throughout the year the group hosts vegetarian dinners, occasional vegetarian food forum and regularly runs a stall featuring vegetarian and vegan food at the Woodend Community Farmers’ Market.

Planning the future of the Vegetarian Eating Group

Heather is planning on moving to Brisbane next year so she would like to start the process to find a new leader for MR VEG (Action Group for Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group).  Ideally, a core leadership group to revitalise the group.   With a core leadership group, there are various options that could be explored and/or continued to take the group forward: cooking classes, veg food expos, the farmers market, pot lucks, film nights, new innovative ideas etc.
