The first workshop for Cool Changes will be held on 25 May, from 6.30 – 9pm.  It sounds a long time to be online, but there will be a break, and will ensure that we will be well prepared for undertaking the project as a coordinated team over the next couple of months or so.

NOTE - registrations are essential, for both logistical and security reasons.  Go to https://www.mrsc.vic.gov.au/See-Do/Events/Events-Activities/Cool-Changes-3442-online-Foundations-Workshop  to register.  A link to the online “meeting room” will only be provided to those who register for the workshop, it will be sent to you a day or so beforehand.  (The site needs to be edited to correct the time, so if it’s not operational  when you click onto it, try again soon afterwards)   

In preparation for the workshop, the attached project primer pack has been prepared.  The first few pages explain the background to the project and how it will proceed, then the pack contains information relevant to the area to help inform discussions. 

We look forward to working with you all in this community-led planning project (even though it’s in the absence of community workshops!) and are really excited to be trialling a new approach to planning for action on climate change.
