This year’s AGM will be held on Saturday 12 October from 3 pm to 5pm at the Woodend Neighbourhood House, in 47 Forest St, Woodend.
The focal point of the AGM will be an afternoon tea celbrating the achievements of the action groups over the past 12 months. Everyone is invited to bring a small plate of vegetarian nibbles (please label the ingredients). MRSG will provide drinks.
At the AGM members will:
Receive reports from the President, Treasurer, and Action Groups on the activities and achievements of the MRSG for the past 12 months
Elect members to the new Committee
Vote on a proposal to change MRSG’s Constitution as follows: Add to the purpose of the Association (ie MRSG) on p. 3 to “invest in renewable energy projects and use revenues from these for other sustainable projects”
After the official business has been conducted (30 mins), we will host a discussion Cr Janet Pearce, Macedon Ranges Shire Council Mayor. We will hear about Council's plans and vision for sustainability in the Macedon Ranges and you will have a chance to discuss how MRSG can co-operate with the Council in these.
