The Clean Bin Project - film screening

  • Norma Richardson Hall 15 Buckland Street Woodend, VIC, 3442 Australia (map)

Join Movies that Matter and MRSG’s Waste Action Group for a screening of this Canadian documentary that poses the question: ‘Is it possible to live completely waste free?’

The film’s two protagonists, Grant and Jen engage in a competition to see who can swear off consumerism and produce the least garbage. During the process, they struggle to find meaning in their minuscule influence on the large-scale environmental impacts of our “throw-away society”. This is a fun and inspiring call to individual action that speaks to crowds of all ages.

As we all try to wean ourselves off plastic bags and crazy packaging, come and join us to share tips and experiences for getting closer to a waste-free existence.

As usual, there will be Friday night refreshments (with a focus on low-waste options) and kids are welcome to bring a beanbag.
