A feature session at the 2026 Riddells Creek Cool Changes Enviro-Energy Expo will be a keynote conversation titled “The Chemical Experiment: The Hidden Cost of Convenience”.

Brad Clarke (Associate Professor of Environmental Science & Analytical Chemistry, Australian Laboratory for Emerging Contaminants, University of Melbourne) will discuss the pervasive use of chemicals in modern society and research efforts to combat the urgent health threat posed by 21st-century synthetic chemicals

The conversation will be guided by well-known journalist and ABC Landline presenter Tim Lee

The Expo is on Saturday March 21st, 2026 at the Riddells Creek Leisure Centre (26-32 Sutherlands Road).

The timing for this session is 10.30am to 11.15am.
