Terracycle

TerraCycle is Eliminating the Idea of Waste® by recycling the "non-recyclable." Whether it's coffee capsules from your home, pens from a school, or plastic gloves from a manufacturing facility, TerraCycle can collect and recycle almost any form of waste. We partner with individual collectors such as yourself, as well as major consumer product companies, retailers, manufacturers, municipalities, and small businesses across 20 different countries. With your help, we are able to divert millions of pounds of waste from landfills and incinerators each month.

Waste Action Group offers official collection points at the Woodend Farmers’ Markets and Macedon Farmers’ Markets for the follow items as part of Terracycle’s Free Recycling Program

Please let us know if you are able to help on a market day in either Woodend or Macedon this year. Helping on the Terracycle stall is usually split into an early shift and a later shift. Early Shift 8.30am - 11am Later Shift 11.00am - 1pm Early shift covers setting up the stall, answering questions and talking to people about their waste and recycling habits. Later shift requires checking in with the Early Shift person and handing over any queries, then packing up the stall by 1pm.
Let us know which shift you prefer or if you can do both shifts. Also, let us know if you need any help or support to run the stall.
