So long and thank you

After 10 years in leadership positions (WBFS leader, SLFFF leader, Treasurer, Action Group liaison, Vice President and President) within the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group, I shall be stepping down from active involvement at the end of this month. It is time to move onto the next phase of my life and immerse myself in other pursuits - reading, writing, gardening, and converting my old land rover to electric.

I have so enjoyed my time in this wonderful organisation and made many wonderful friends. I am pleased with what we have accomplished together. MRSG enjoys an enhanced social license in the community and has developed productive partnerships with Council and other community groups in the Ranges. Long, may this continue. We also survived and did great things during the COVID pandemic. I am excited by the new leaders who have emerged and feel confident that MRSG under Lenka Thompson, the Committee, and Action Group Leaders will continue on this trajectory and attain even greater things.

This does not mean that I shall become a hermit. I look forward to catching up with you, my friends, for a coffee or glass of wine some time soon.
